Automatic Session Extender for ING Banking
The Automatic Session Extender for ING Banking is a small Chrome extension that prevents users from being automatically logged out of their ING Online Banking sessions after 5 minutes. It works by regularly clicking the "session extension button" located at the top right of the ING Online Banking website, effectively resetting the 5-minute timer as long as there is at least one ING tab open.
This extension does not collect or analyze any user data. Its sole purpose is to extend the session duration on the ING Online Banking website. However, users will still be logged out if all ING tabs have been closed for at least 5 minutes or if the browser is closed. Manual logout is also possible at any time.
The extension can be enabled or disabled and offers some advanced options. Users can adjust the time interval for the session extension (default is every 60 seconds) and change the CSS class that identifies the "session extension button" on the Online Banking website in case it changes in the future.
